Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day is this Sunday so that means I need to shop this weekend!  My mom has made the request of cute PJ's.  I have to say it is much more fun to lay around is cute PJ's with a big cup of coffee or to stay up late catching your favorite guilty pleasure in something comfy.  I am just mad about all of these PJ's.

On Repeat

These two items have been on repeat lately....meaning I have loved wearing them.  I wear them to work, on the weekend and everything in between.  I am just mad about this shirt and these shoes.

This J.Crew shirt looks classic yet reflaxed.  I have worn it with black bermuda shorts, khakis, and gray pencil chinos.  White jeans will be the next pairing. 

The Easter bunny was very generous with his basket.  These shoes are the perfect tan color and so comfortable.  I can teach all day in them.  Tory Burch got it right with the rubber sole.

Fashion Favorites

I have been spending lots of time shopping the past two weeks in search of fabulous spring outfits for showers, parties and honeymoon.  I am just mad about Kate Spade clothing, jewelry and shoes.  Some of her pieces are a little pricey so I would look for something that can be worn in multiple settings.

I think these earrings are the perfect everyday earring.  Sometimes a girl needs to change it up from pearls. 

Taking A Break

I am so guilty of wearing my contacts longer than I should.  Last week I wanted to give my eyes a break and switch to my glasses, but after frantic searching my apartment, they were not found, and my poor eyes took on another day.  I am just mad about these cute frames...I think I would switch to glasses more often when I can wear these to work.

Spring Fever

I am getting spring fashion fever so bad.  My next few posts are going to be devoted to all the fashions that I am just mad about.

As usual, my girl Tory knows how to make me happy.  How fabulous is this nude neutral?

Good Investment

These have been around a while, I know.  I adore uggs (probably more than a 26 year old should).  They are so comfy and I find myself slipping them on all winter long.  My current favorite is the pair shown below.  I cook in them, watch tv in them and take the dog out in them.  I wear the slippers much more than I thought and I am just mad about the way my feet feel in them.  These uggs are the perfect ending to any night out!

The Hunt

Each season I am on a hunt.  A hunt for the perfect black pump.  I have had pointy toe, round toe, open toe, leather, patent leather, suede, cheap, designer you name it.  My hunt first begins online.  I search stores just as Neiman Marcus for inspiration.  I get ideas of trends and I view runway collections online.  From there I head to the magazines.  I look at features and layouts in Vogue and InStyle and then I check out the feet of the celebs in InTouch, USWeekly, etc.  Televsion comes next.  I am just mad about Rachel Zoe, and she offers inspiration, but that is another post entirely.

So this season, after my hours of research I have decided, round toe, platform, exotic skin.  If it is going to be a black pump I want something made out of real leather with padding and support.  Nothing is worse than a fake black leather pump. Fashion staples should always be the real thing.

Thanks to InStyle and their feature on Ann Taylor, I decided to check out Ann Taylor's "Perfect Pump."  The name lived up.  I am just mad about these perfect pumps.  They have the style, the comfort and the cool factor I was looking for.

Now I  just need to save up for the booties I saw....
